        The only two known covers from the ‘Fourth Contingent, 5th Canadian Mounted Rifles’, a very short-lived unit in South Africa for only 7 days as the war had ended by the time the troops arrived. First cover with Natal #67 tied by smudgy POINT NATAL 23 JU 1902 ‘Col. Girouard, Royal Engineers Pretoria’, forwarded to Johannesburg, with various markings front and back, nice blue C.M.R. 5th Reg’t. logo printed on back, back flap with tears. The Second cover is Col.
